This is a photo from Texas, and this is something absurdly kind that Langer said. I don’t think there’s any way to publicly acknowledge generous remarks without seeming sort of nauseating, so I’ll just say thank you to him (and also to Cricket, and also to all you other people of whom I’ve grown so fond). (Note to family and ex-girlfriends: See? The literati of the North like me!).
