My name is Mills Baker, and this is where I post what strikes me. I write about love, religion, music, memory, art, culture, media, suffering, and the utterly random.

“ In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them.

Hillary Clinton (via IDKwIDK)

See the full post for context and a comparison with Clinton’s previous refusal to make ‘hypothetical’ statements about foreign policy, a particularly moronic stance given that before someone is in office all they can make are hypothetical statements about their potential responses.

I gather IDKwIDK is mostly interested in the comparison with McCain’s media reception, but I think the fascinating element is that Clinton must be trying to close the “tough leader”-gap with the Republicans. To say, in a campaign, that “we would be able to totally obliterate them” is highly provocative, if factual.
